What is KinLife?
A smart family planner with an AI assistant. Turn messages, forwarded emails, notes and saved links into shared plans, lists and reminders.
How do I sign up?
Create an account with Google, with an email address and password, or by messaging KinLife on WhatsApp. A short setup chat helps you add your family and mobile number. Connecting an external calendar is optional. Every new family starts with a free month of Couple, no credit card needed.
Do both parents need an account?
Each parent who uses KinLife has their own account and joins the same family through an invitation or family code. You share family plans while keeping your own preferences and notifications.
Can children use the app?
Children can join with a child role and see the family calendar and their own reminders. You can also add a younger child without a login and give them one later while keeping their existing records.
Does it remember things between conversations?
Yes. KinLife remembers family context such as schools, recurring commitments and preferences you share, so you do not have to explain them each time. You can review and edit saved memory in Settings.
What calendars does KinLife support?
Use KinLife’s own calendar, or connect Google Calendar or Apple Calendar through iCloud for two-way sync. An external calendar is optional. Each family uses one external calendar provider at a time.
Can I use KinLife outside the app?
Yes. You can use KinLife on the web, message your assistant on WhatsApp, or forward emails to your family’s KinLife address with instructions. WhatsApp requires an eligible plan and an active linked number.
Does KinLife read my email?
Only the email you choose. You can forward emails to your family’s KinLife address and say what you’d like done. If you connect your email account, KinLife has read-only access and reads only the messages that match the scope you choose, to offer you the tasks, events and reminders in them. From a connected account it keeps the sender, subject, date, a short summary and any suggestion it drafts, never the message body or attachments, and nothing from it is used to train AI models. You can disconnect at any time and choose whether we keep or delete what we found.
How safe is my data?
Access to family information is restricted to your family. Calendar connection credentials are encrypted at rest. Read our privacy policy for details about how information is collected, processed and stored.
